因为曾经有同学因为没有写下来,而导致房东赖帐不退押金的事情.

GIVING “NOTICE”

Under New Brunswick Law, when you wish to vacate an
apartment, you are REQUIRED to give your landlord a full
months notice, in writing. For example: to move out on
April 30th, you MUST give WRITTEN NOTICE to your
landlord no later than April 1st. “Notice” must always be
given on the first day of the month.

It is recommended that you make a duplicate copy of the
‘notice letter’ for your own records and have the landlord
sign
and date it.
