NIKON（尼康） Coolpix 885是CoolPix 880的后继机型，在将变焦从2.5倍提高到3倍的前提下，更进一步实现了小型化和轻量化。同时，CoolPix 885的操作更加简便，在使用USB缆与计算机连接的时候，只要按一个按纽就能够开始图像的传输。为了使初学者也能够简便的使用，它还有12种不同的拍摄模式：肖像模式，宴会舞台模式，夜景模式，海滨雪景模式，风光模式，晚霞模式，远景模式，禁止闪光模式，烟花模式，近距模式，文件翻拍模式，逆光模式。
CoolPix 885采用了有效像素为321万像素的CCD传感器，以及高性能的3倍光学变焦Nikkor镜头，能够忠实地还原拍摄物体细微的细节，8-24mm的变焦范围，相当于35mm相机的38-114mm，8组9枚的结构，具备优秀的光学性能，同时相机还可以进行4倍数码变焦。使用新开发的处理软件能够高速处理大容量的图像文件。最近4cm微距拍摄能力。同时，它能够在5个对焦区域中自动选择对焦区域，即使是拍摄的对象不在画面中间也能够清晰地对焦。256分割区域的测光机能，力保准确的测光数据。
CoolPix 885能够进行以QVGA格式（320×240像素）、每秒30帧的超高动态画面拍摄（UH连拍）；如果使用15帧/秒的连续动态拍摄，最长可以记录40秒。由于采用了新开发的图象处理引擎，在采用节能模式的前提下，使用配备的Li-ion电池，在LCD打开的情况下，可以连续拍摄90分钟。此外，如果将模式开关拨至AUTO挡，CoolPix 885可以作为自动相机，方便初学摄影者使用。

UV - safeguards your lens and absorbs uv light. helps protect your camera lens against dust, moisture, fingerprints, scratches and damage. camera lenses are more sensitive to uv light than our eyes. the uv filter prevents a blush cast in your images.
