I feel that insurance is really depends what you want to include for you and your car. Sometimes even your insurance is higher than others, that is not means you have bad deal. You really have to your car, then decided what type of insurance should you include. And another thing is you can buy insurance anywhere in Canada, no matter where you live (Should check the service of NB to make sure for your car checking every year). Before my friend bought car here, but he bought insurance in other province. I am not sure still can do that or not, but it is good chance to find out where you can buy cheaper insurance. Good Luck!

I am not sure where you can rent a car, some company they require over 25, some company require Class 5. I think the best way is call them to ask them you can rent a car there or not. Plus you have to have your own credit card.
