[b][font=Arial]米其林轮毂一体型轮胎Tweel

[/font][/b]法国米其林（Michelin）宣布在底特律车展2005（North American International Auto Show，2005年1月15～22日面向公众开放）上展出轮毂一体型轮胎“Tweel”。与以往利用压缩空气的轮胎不同，Tweel使用橡胶状辐条来连接花毂（Hub）与地面，通过辐条的变形与复原来吸收路面的凹凸与冲击。
　　载重量与乘坐感觉等与普通轮胎毫无二致。与普通轮胎相比，Tweel的优势在于可以分别调整轮胎的纵刚性（影响乘坐感觉）与横刚性（影响操作性能等）。Tweel的样品在安装在德国奥迪公司的“A4”上进行试验时，旋转阻力保持了与普通轮胎一样的水平，横刚性则达到普通轮胎的5倍，这使得试验车辆的操作性能变得非常灵敏。
