给市长，各媒介，所有关心人的一封信

Hi, Bamford, Anthony:

This is Li Song, the president of Chinese Student & Scholar Association in UNBSJ.

Thanks so much for responding me this fast. I would like to meet with our dearest Mayor, and chat with him about the life of more than 800 Chinese students right here in the city.

The incident happened like this we are not happy about it, but we are happy about the responses and strong supports for us from the whole city.

I already talked with UNBSJ side, they would like to hold a meeting with the Mayor and Saint John police force to talk about this incident and to rise awareness for all the international students.

I would like to ask how’s the Mayor’s schedule today or tomorrow, tomorrow would be good for student gathering, but if the Mayor’s schedule is tight up, I will try my best to get more students to come out.

Last night another incident happened on University Ave. around 11 pm.
My friend this time, directly called me, we then called the Saint John north end police.
the police came 30 minutes after. This time was a red car, but because it was the late of night, my friends didn't recognize what kind car it was. Two of them, one got hurt on his side body by a paper cup full of ice with pop in it, and another one got shocked by this particular issue. They were walking back from visiting their old home-stay, where only five minutes away. This is basic case happened last night.

We want to stop this kind of incident as soon as possible. The reputation of Saint John could be destroyed just by a couple of uneducated locals, but on the other hand few bad people don’t represent friendly Saint John. We hold faith for this city, and for the UNB. And we appreciate the city’s local community’s strong support for us on behalf of this incident.

University of New Brunswick is going to host a meeting, to invite the Mayor or Saint John city, to meet with members of Chinese Student & Scholar Association, Saint John Police Force, and different university’s stuff members, as well as some medias and other local communities to talk about this incident, to comfort all the students scariness.
