i can provide u 3 ways.
1st way, going to job agent. there are many agents over there, such as, chinatown, and flushing.
2nd way, going online i can give u a website and u can go there and check it out what kind of jobs are avabile for u. [url]www.worldjournal.com[/url]
3rd way, u can go to ask phsical stores to ask whether they need to hire some1 or not.

那怎么申请签证呢？

2.网上book interview appointment网址：[URL="http://www.nvars.com"]www.nvars.com[/URL] 预约费用10CND，用信用卡网上支付。可以在使馆提供的日历中自行挑选interview日期和时间，当然前提是如果那一天还有空余名额，空余名额信息会显示在日历中。预约完成后，会显示一封confirmation letter，上面有姓名、预约日期时间、reference number等信息，可以打印出来。不打也没关系，因为过些日子使馆会寄一封很厚的信给你，里面有一样的confirmation letter、申请表、四联交费单、你需要准备的文件种类。

3.interview
（1）千万不能带手机、palm、吃的喝的，这些不能带的东西清单在使馆寄给你的信里都有，我排队等的时候看到很多没有人陪同前来的人只能把巧克力、水和包里的各种吃的扔到外面垃圾箱，手机也只能随便放在门口地上。使馆好象不负责存东西，也不替你保管。我就碰到一个小姐出来后找不到手机，当时门卫好象还帮她找了一会儿，我看见门卫拿起地上的一个手机问是不是她的，可惜不是。
（2）千万别忘记带confirmation letter，没它你连大门都进不去。

（3）既便你约了时间，也要做好至少等1小时的准备，因为进去以后还得排队。也别到太早，提前30分钟才能进去。我约的10点，9点30分进入，11点10分才轮到我interview。
（4）如果你准备到使馆照像，最好准备硬币，因为碰到好几个要照像的中国人要跟我换硬币，估计是自动照像的机器有这个要求。
（5）过安检后先在一个走廊里排队，因为屋里的座位都坐满了。排队时就有工作人员来收申请表、护照、照片、收据，用皮筋扎起来一起送进去。然后你就等着排队到屋里，坐着等有窗口叫你的名字。[/SIZE]

new york city: easy to get a job but high expense city, besides, the work u got doesnt not including living, in other word, u have to rent a place to live.
some city around nyc, such as new jersy, and upstate: good offer but evey boring, it is better to go to if u got firends there, or u like enjoying a boring life.
many people choose to go far away from nyc because they really wanna make money, so basiclly, it is up to u, if u just wanna go to usa to make money u have better go some cities where are far away from nyc. :wink:

我的朋友的小签已经过期了，回加拿大的时候会不会有麻烦？
过海关的时候需要提供那些材料？需要下学期的在读证明吗？我的朋友不想交下学期的学费了。

if yes, it is better for him or her to get a visa. to be honest, i went to usa this summer without a visa. fortunately, i came back to canada sucessufully. and i went to register office few days ago and asked some one about this question. that girl told to me if i wanna take a risk again i donot need a visa to go to usa. so it is up to u.
