[B]For Immediate Release:[/B] 15/12/2005 [B]THIRD UPDATE: Double Murder - One Man is Wanted for First Degree Murder[/B]

(Ottawa) - This morning, the Ottawa Police Major Crime Investigators have obtained a warrant of arrest for a man wanted in relation to the double homicide of Tailang LIU and Linhai TIAN on December 6, 2005.Charged is WEI, Fu, Kwok, 27 years old of Vancouver. He is wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant on two counts of First Degree Murder. WEI is also known as WEI, Jackie At this time, the Ottawa Police Service does not know the location of Fu Kwok WEI. He is a resident of Vancouver British Columbia but is known to travel extensively.The Police have interviewed WEI’s associates but have not been able to locate or contact him. The accused is considered armed and dangerous therefore a warrant in the first instance is requested to ensure public safety, secure his appearance in court and to ensure the safety of witnesses to the offence. The handgun has not been recovered.
