Job Title: Paralegal / Marketing and Liaison Officer

Job Description:

• As a paralegal, you will mainly be working with Teresa Young. You will be responsible for typing up, editing and preparing various legal documents, correspondence, etc.
• As a Marketing and Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for the initial meetings with Chinese clients, drafting a memorandum and briefing Teresa Young following the meetings. On the marketing side, you may present marketing plans on advertising to the Chinese community, as well as attending various marketing/social events.
• You may also be required to perform other duties involving immigration.
• This job is permanent in nature, with an initial probation period.

Requirements:

• Good working knowledge of English, both oral and written.
• Excellent Mandarin Chinese language skills, oral and written.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with internet research.
• Must be able to work full time during normal office hours, with the ability to occasionally work late or on weekends.
• Knowledge and experience in the making of Power Point presentations

• Pleasant and personable
• An active member in the Saint John Chinese community.

Hello Teresa,
The hospital offered me a job for this summer. I will be doing shifts. However, I will have some days-off during regular business hours and also I am still interested in doing part-time jobs for your firm.
