Off Campus
Students can work off-campus, but they must have an Off-Campus Work Permit. With an Off-Campus Work Permit, students can work up to 20 hours per week during scheduled semesters and full-time (40 hours per week) during scheduled holidays.

NEW PROCESS FOR OFF-CAMPUS WORK PERMIT APPLICATION

As of February 3rd, 2009, students applying for an Off-Campus Work Permit (OCWP) will have to complete online the first step of their OCWP application: their eligibility verification request.

Whether they decide to submit their OCWP application online or by mail, they will have to use the Electronic Notification System (ENS), instead of the immigration forms 5581 and 5582, for the verification of their eligibility to the program. Their eligibility verification request will be sent to the Designated Institutional Representative (DIR) at their school via this electronic system.

The ENS will be accessible to students through MyCIC, the student's secure online portal, which is available from the CIC main webpage <[COLOR="Red"]http://www.cic.gc.ca[/COLOR]>. As soon as a DIR has completed processing a student’s eligibility verification request, the student is informed by a message in his/her personalized portal, MyCIC.

If the student is eligible to apply for an OCWP, the message will contain a link to the OCWP online application; it will also inform students who would prefer to mail their application on how to print their approved eligibility verification request, which they will need to attach to their paper application. If the student is not eligible to apply for an OCWP, the message will simply ask the student to contact the DIR at his/her school.

GPA不低于2.0即可申请

大概10个工作日就可以收到来自CIC的MESSAGE,会直接到达你的MYCIC信箱里面...如果申请无法通过,CIC会同知学校有关部门给你发E-MAIL解释原因...如果成功通过申请,就会给申请表格直接发到你的MYCIC...
