APPOINTMENT FOR SNB ROAD TEST

CLIENTS POSSESSING A HOME COUNTRY LICENSE

If you are in possession of a license for which we do not exchange (ie: Home Country license) you will keep your license until the day of your road test.

A fee of $25.00 plus $3.25 HST is to be paid to SNB before the written test if given. Review page 16 of NB driver handbook for required documentation and identification.

Each re-write is $15.00 plus $1.95 HST, payable before writing. [B]Keep this receipt for proof of payment.[/B]

On the day of your road test you must bring with you the following: Your original home country license and an official translation of your license (if not in English or French). If you are in possession of an International Drivers Permit you must present it to the Driver Examiner.

The valid registration and insurance card for the vehicle [B]you are using for your road test.[/B] If you are using a rental vehicle then the rental arrangement with the clients name on it must be presented to the Driver Examiner along with the registration and insurance. The vehicle must be in good working order, and road worthy, failure of this pre-trip would result in a vehicle failure and will require[B] another appointment [/B]and [B]payment of fee. [/B]

If you do not take your road test within 6 months, the written test must be taken again and a new fee paid.

If [B]successful [/B]on the road test a fee of $80.00 will be paid to obtain your class 5 license. Each additional road will cost $25.00 plus $3.25 HST payable before the test is given. Please [B]keep this receipt [/B]for proof of payment.

If you are successful in passing the road test, a NB class 5 license will be issued the same day, and the home country license (and translation) will be surrendered.

PROOF OF PAYMENT (RECEIPT) IS REQUIRED TO SHOW THE TESTING FEES HAVE BEEN PAID.
