鹿也被taser

A wayward deer was shot with a tranquilizer gun and tasered, Tuesday, after spending much of the morning lounging in a green space near the downtown Toronto bus terminal on Bay Street.

It will be taken to Toronto Animal Services before heading to the Toronto Zoo.

The deer wandered into the downtown core early Tuesday morning.

It was spotted around Union Station before heading several blocks north.

The deer was seen lying down to rest on a small patch of grass next to a medical building at Edward and Chestnut streets, across from the Bay Street Terminal.

Police had taped off the area around the deer. Edward Street, between Chestnut and Dundas, was closed as well.
