办理无犯罪记录的时候，找国内涉外公证处公证即可。公证处会帮你翻译。

"an affidavit from the person who completed the translation" what's this? 无数人用的都是国内的公证件，没出过一点问题的。公证件上会写明公证员的。再者说，国内的东西在加拿大很难找到人帮你公证吧。谁知道是真是假呀。

国内的公证处是可以办理的.
你要真的在这边翻译的话得咨询一下ＳＪ的律师事务所，他们也可以办你办理翻译证明.．
