THANKSGIVING TRIP TO KINGS LANDING

Are you looking for something fun to do on the Thanksgiving Weekend? Please join us for a trip to Kings Landing Historical Settlement on Saturday, Oct. 9, and see how New Brunswick looked in the 1800s. Here are the details:

Where: Meet at the front of the L.B. Gym at 10 a.m., returning around 4:30 p.m.

What: Visit Kings Landing Historical Settlement, tour the village, and see how the people of New Brunswick lived in the 19th century (Kings Landing’s website: [url]http://www.kingslanding.nb.ca/english/index.htm[/url]) Attached is a list of special events taking place on the weekend.

Cost: $20 for individuals, $35 for families

What to bring: lunch, snacks, water (some snacks and beverages are sold at the Gift Shop), your camera, good walking shoes, and dress in layers in case the weather is cool/damp. A Thanksgiving Dinner can be purchased at the Kings Landing restaurant (see attached information)

Pre-register and pay by Oct. 7:
