TELECOMMUNICATION SPECIALIST

The City of Saint John, Information Technology division is searching for a Telecommunication Specialist. The IT Division’s primary role within the organization involves providing all aspects of IT Services and Support to over 800 users. The Telecommunications Specialist’s responsibility is to administer, manage, and monitor enterprise wide telecommunications service for the City of Saint John. This includes billing analysis, service level management, asset management, and supplier management to achieve optimization for all Desktop telephones, Cellular devices, Pagers, Blackberry devices, associated systems and services, voicemail, fax systems, and conferencing environments. The incumbent will also analyze and resolve telecommunications service issues in a timely and accurate fashion, and support end user needs where required.
The successful candidate will have a university degree in Business Administration, Arts, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of four years of experience in a similar role.
