重大提醒--8月28日移民局对换发枫叶卡所需文件做出了两大调整，及我对此的一个疑问，欢迎讨论。


　　首先要感谢一下WHOIMI 2005同学，看了他的提醒。我才去看了CIC的网站。
　　CIC 确实在8月28日更新了RENEW枫叶卡的要求，主要有以下两点：

　　1. 原来移民局对提供税单的规定是

　　A copy of one of the following:

　　your Income Tax assessments issued by Canada Revenue Agency for two (2) years within the past five (5) years

　　现在更改为

　　A copy of one of the following

　　Other Income Tax assessments issued by Canada Revenue Agency within the past five (5) years,

　　也就是以前只要提供换卡申请前两年的税单就可以，现在改为必须提供五年的税单。

　　我的解读是，从申请换卡之日往前推五年，你报了几年税，就提供几年的税单。如果那年没有报税，你只要向移民局做出说明就可以了。(不是必须提供五年的，如果你没有连续报了五年税的话)

　　2.原来移民局对于前五年的护照复印件的规定是

　　All pages of all passports you held in the past five (5) years

　　现在更改为

　　Photocopies of all pages of all passports you held in the past five (5) years (if your stamps are not in English or French, please have them translated, see section on Translation of documents)Translation of documents

　　Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by

　　· the English or French translation

　　· a certified copy of the document;

　　· a translator's declaration

　　The declaration must include the translator's name, the original language of the translated document and a statement signed by the translator that the translation is accurate. Translators who are certified members in good standing of one of the provincial or territorial organizations of translators and interpreters of Canada do not need to supply an affidavit。

　　Important information. Translations by family members are not acceptable 家园新闻,news.iask.ca

　　我的解读是现在五年间护照上所有不是英法文的出入境章必须让有牌照的翻译翻译成英文，并附上“certified copy”才行，如果让别人翻译，还必须附上翻译人签署的声明书(有牌照翻译不用附上声明书)，家庭成员的翻译不被接受。

　　我的疑问是根据这一新规定，我自己是否可以翻译并附上我的家庭医生等专业人士签字的certified copy再附上我自己的声明就行了，不知道这样是否符合新规定，想听听大家的意见，(关键是省钱)啊。

　　总结：移民局现在抓的是越来越严了，那些想靠作假混身份的人越来越没有机会了。可是苦了我们这些诚实人的荷包了。那些注册翻译可要美死了

老大也是转帖的吧。从转帖文字上看，就是微小调整而已，而且关于翻译的理解不全面。等我吃完饭去CIC完整看看，再回来讨论。

官方网站的内容看完了。以上要求体现在材料IMM5445里面。但原帖作者并未仔细看上下文。现在友情解释一下所谓的“重大调整”。最终解释权归CIC。

1. 关于tax assessment 的要求，原文如下：

A copy of one of the following:

* Other Income Tax assessments issued by Canada Revenue Agency within the past five (5) years, or
* transcripts from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada verifying attendance within the past five (5) years or
* for all school-aged children, written records verifying attendance within the past five (5) years.

解读：1.1. NOA 即notice of assessment 是你已经有的而且按要求必须保留7年的资料，并非额外要求；如果你找不到了，可以找CRA要一份。
1.2. NOA并非必须的，你还可以提供学校的出勤表以代之。

2. 关于翻译。如果请有翻译证的人给你翻译，则不需声明。除此之外，任何人（包括你自己）都可以翻译，但必须有人认可（certify）你的翻译文本并签字确认你的翻译质量。很多人都可以做这个认可人，例如医生、牙医、会计、工程师、政府办事员、社工，邮政所所长甚至火葬场场长。

所以老大不必担心，所谓“重大调整”实在是“家园网”的人危言耸听。第一条根本不算事；第二条我就可以帮你翻译和认证，只要你来的时候提一句 我是论坛一哥。
