July 19 (Friday), 9:30 am to 5:30 pm

 

 

 

 

Whale Watching Tour                                             apply before: Friday, July 5

Age: 11 – 18 years                                                          Location: Market Wharf, St. Andrews, NB 

Transportation: SJMNRC will provide transportation to and from St. Andrews. (Details regarding transportation and scheduling will be provided by Li Song closer to the date.)

SPECIAL NOTE:  For whale watching, you must meet at SJMNRC (3^rd floor) by 9:15.  Remember:  Bring a lunch, sunscreen, hat and anything else that you may want for a day in the sun.   “Come aboard, inhale the fresh salt air, experience the world's highest tides, feel the warmth of the sun, and enjoy world-class whale and wildlife sightings.  (www.islandquestmarine.com) 

 

Week 1 - 1v1 Attacking Camp June 24th-28th (5-Day Camp for 6-12 year olds)

 

Week 2 - Ball Retention Camp July 2nd-5th (4-Day Camp for 6-12 year olds)

 

Week 3 - Barcelona Camp July 8th-12th (5-Day Camp for 6-12 year olds)

 

Week 4 - Small Sided Games Camp July 15th-19th (5-Day Camp for 8-14 year olds)

 

Fundy Soccer Camp                                         apply before: As Soon As Possible

Transportation:  Parent/s must drive you to the soccer field

 

Location: Arthur Miller Fields, 14 Clermont Lane, Rothesay, N.B. (SPECIAL NOTE: Early drop-off at 8:30 am and late pick-up at 12:30 pm at the Fields.)

July 29 (Monday) to August 2 (Friday), 10:00 am to 3:00 pm (5-day camp)

 

 

 

 

Leadership Camp                                                    apply before: Friday, July 19

Age: 13 – 18 years                              Location for camp: Glen Carpenter Center, 730 FosterThurston Drive Transportation: Bus will be available for drop off at 8:45am, and pick up at  3:45 by the Imperial Theatre.

Be part of a five-day event mixing professional skill development with relaxation!  Learn how to achieve your Highest Potential by using a number of skill-building exercises and by having a chance to meet with professionals from diverse backgrounds.  , change gears and relax.   Wear comfortable clothes for walks around the Centre and bring your bathing suit to swim in the beautiful lake. Please bring your lunch pack from Monday to Thursday.

 

Career Day is being arranged with our employment councillor on Friday, August 2^nd at the same location, adults and employers will be invited to attend, and youth members will be able to meet and greet the guests, and will practice the skills they have learnt in this Leadership camp. There will be FREE BBQ and team building activity on Friday. You will receive details from Li Song and Mary Stack closer to the date. 

August 12 (Monday) to August 16 (Friday) (5-day camp)

 

9:00 am to 12:00 pm,  Age: 8 - 12 years

1:00 pm to 4:00 pm,   Age: 13 – 18 years          

 

 

 

 

UNB Sports Camp                                                       apply before: Friday, August 2

Location: UNBSJ, Athletic Centre, 100 Tucker Park Road

                       

Wear shorts, t-shirts, and sneakers – be ready to play all kinds of FUN sports! Everyone, please, be there for 12 noon to eat!  PIZZA PARTY on FRIDAY for all groups. 

 

August 26 (Monday) to August 30 (Friday), 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (5-day camp)

 

Camp Awesome                                       apply before: Friday, August 2

Age: 6 – 12 years                                            Location: Lily Lake Pavilion, 55 Lake Drive, Saint John

Transportation: Parent/s must drop you off and pick up children at the Lily Lake Pavilion.

 

Kids will be dropped off in the morning and will be introduced to two mature, fun loving councillors.  Youth will play outside while waiting for everyone to arrive before starting the day.  Then, weather permitting; they will do all kinds of OUTDOOR activities.  Activities include boating, hiking, swimming and rock climbing.  They will come home tired and happy after having a fun-filled day of outdoor play! Wear shorts, t-shirt and sneakers and be ready to play all kinds of FUN sports! 

 

 

August 19 (Monday) to August 23 (Friday), 9am to 12noon (5-day camp)

 

French Camp                                           apply before: Friday, July 19

 Age: 3 – 7 years         Location: Samuel de Champlain School, 67 Ragged Point Road, SJ

Transportation: Parent/s will have to drive the kids, or take bus #25 to get there.

Various workshops and activities will be available to both the youth and their parents. This particular activity is also available for the public to attend.  NOTE: You must register before the deadline. 

 

August 24, Saturday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (actual race date

Dragon Boat Race                                                          apply before: Friday, July 24

Age: 12 years old and up (parents must participate)            Location: Renforth Wharf , Rothesay, NB

Transportation: SJMNRC will provide transportation for the team members.

There will be two practices the week before August 24^th. Youth members, who want to join the team, must participate in both practices, and parents of the youth must come for practices and the race as well. Once you have signed up for this year’s team, you will be notified with further details.

These tours can be scheduled for you (and your families) in June, July and August with Li. See info on another sheet. You will have to fill in a form to indicate your dates you are will be available so that we can arrange the time accordingly.
